Our team installed 76 linear feet of the AkwaGuard Basement Drainage System to effectively manage water intrusion and protect the foundation. The system was connected to one SuperSump sump station, providing reliable water removal and long-term basement protection. To further prevent water buildup around the foundation, we added two downspout extensions, directing roof runoff safely away from the home. This complete solution ensures a dry, stable basement environment and helps safeguard the home against future water issues.

This project included the installation of approximately 200 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system and two AmeriSump pumps to manage groundwater effectively. About 2,000 square feet of the crawl space was encapsulated with CleanSpace vapor barrier, along with the installation of one Sedona dehumidifier to control moisture and improve air quality. Additional structural and access improvements included replacing or repairing 5 feet of sill plate, sistering three joists for added structural support, and installing one Turtle access entry to provide durable and secure crawl space access.

Americrawls crew installed Sump Pump Replacement: Replaced an old unit with a new M53 Zoeller sump pump to ensure reliable water removal and protect the crawlspace from flooding. Moisture Protection: Installed 676 square feet of CleanSpace® encapsulation liner to seal out ground moisture and improve the overall environment. Applied 78 feet of 2-inch foam board insulation to the crawl space walls, adding thermal protection and enhancing energy efficiency. Structural Repair: Completed 5 feet of sill plate replacement to restore the integrity of deteriorated wood components. Wood Protection: Applied a Timbor Spray treatment to exposed wooden surfaces to help prevent mold growth and protect against wood-destroying organisms.

This project involved a full moisture management and structural reinforcement plan to protect the homeowner’s crawlspace. We installed 148 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System paired with one AmeriSump sump pump to efficiently collect and redirect groundwater away from the foundation. To control ground moisture and improve air quality, 1,360 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier was placed across the crawlspace floor. Our team also performed structural wood repairs, including 14 feet of rim joists and plate replacement, 6 feet of sill plate replacement, and the installation of 4 sister joists to reinforce weakened floor framing. For added protection against mold and wood decay, we applied Timbor Spray to all exposed structural wood components.

Our expert crew installed 882 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system to fully isolate the crawlspace from ground moisture and humidity. The reinforced vapor barrier was carefully fitted across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation walls and penetrations to create a continuous moisture barrier. This system helps reduce humidity levels, protect structural components from moisture-related deterioration, and improve overall air quality within the home. In addition, one concrete lintel was poured to reinforce and protect the foundation at the affected opening. The lintel was formed and installed to properly distribute structural loads and restore stability to the compromised area. Together, these improvements enhance both moisture control and structural integrity, contributing to long-term foundation protection.

Our team completed an exterior water management solution to protect the foundation and surrounding landscape. The work included: 30 feet of J-Drain exterior drainage system installed to efficiently redirect surface and subsurface water away from the home’s foundation, reducing the risk of erosion and basement leaks. 1 downspout extension added to properly discharge roof runoff away from the foundation, preventing pooling and water intrusion near the structure.

We recently had the pleasure of working with a homeowner who was experiencing moisture-related issues in their crawl space. After conducting a thorough inspection, it was clear that a full encapsulation system would be the best long-term solution to protect their home’s foundation and indoor air quality.
Our team installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, a durable 20 mil liner designed to seal off the crawl space from the earth’s moisture. This heavy-duty liner not only creates a clean and dry environment but also helps prevent mold growth, wood rot, and musty odors. To ensure continued protection and proper humidity control, we also installed a Sedona dehumidifier one of the most efficient crawl space dehumidifiers available on the market today. The Sedona works around the clock to maintain ideal humidity levels and preserve the structural integrity of the home. In addition to the encapsulation, we also addressed water management on the exterior by extending the downspout away from the foundation. This helps direct roof runoff well away from the home, reducing the chances of water seeping into the crawl space or causing erosion near the structure.

The AmeriSystem® SuperSump® was installed to provide high-capacity pumping power and dependable water removal during heavy rains. Engineered for long-term performance, the SuperSump® ensures that any water collected under the CleanSpace® liner is quickly directed out and away from the home’s foundation. The CleanSpace® liner was installed across the crawl space floor and walls to create a bright, clean, and moisture-resistant barrier. This system not only reduces humidity and mold risk but also improves energy efficiency by separating the home from the damp earth below. For accessibility and protection, a Turtle® crawl space access door was installed. This low-profile, heavy-duty entry system is weather-resistant, lockable, and designed to keep pests and debris out while allowing easy, convenient access for future inspections and maintenance. The homeowner was thrilled with the transformation of their crawl space, noting the cleaner environment, better moisture control, and the added security of the Turtle® access.

For this project, we installed 125 feet of the AmeriDrain drainage system along the crawlspace perimeter, connected to one AmeriSump pump station for reliable groundwater removal. To protect the space from moisture, we applied 1,100 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation along with 1,100 square feet of Timbor spray for mold and wood protection. A full 1,100-square-foot crawlspace clean-out was also completed, ensuring the area was cleared of debris before installation. Finally, a 25-foot discharge line was installed to direct water safely away from the home’s foundation.
