Basement Waterproofing, Crawl Space & Foundation Repair in New Whiteland

Our crew installed approximately 165 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system to effectively collect and manage groundwater around the foundation and direct it to one SuperSump sump pump station for reliable water removal. In addition, approximately 1,300 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed throughout the crawlspace to create a continuous vapor barrier, helping to control moisture, reduce humidity, and protect the structural components of the home. A Santa Fe Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to actively regulate moisture levels and improve overall air quality. As part of the structural improvements, two floor joists were sistered to reinforce weakened framing, and one concrete block poured pad was installed to provide a stable and properly supported bearing point. Together, these upgrades improve moisture control, structural stability, and long-term performance of the crawlspace and foundation system.

The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 1,300 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a continuous and durable vapor barrier throughout the crawlspace. This system helps control ground moisture, reduce humidity levels, and protect structural components from moisture-related damage. In addition, one Santa Fe Sedona dehumidifier is installed to actively regulate humidity and improve overall air quality within the crawlspace. Together, these upgrades provide long-term moisture control, enhance energy efficiency, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more stable crawlspace environment.

For this project, we installed one SuperSump sump station, a highly efficient sump system designed to keep the basement dry and protect against water intrusion. To provide an additional layer of security in case of a power outage, we added one UltraSump battery backup system, ensuring the sump pump remains operational during emergencies. In addition, we performed two SealFlex crack repairs on foundation walls where water seepage was a concern. SealFlex provides a permanent, flexible seal that moves with the wall, preventing future leaks and maintaining structural integrity.

A basement crack repair was performed to restore the integrity of the foundation and prevent water intrusion. The process began with cleaning and preparing the crack to ensure proper adhesion of repair materials. A high-quality sealant and bonding agent were applied to fill and seal the gap, creating a watertight barrier against leaks. This repair not only stops moisture from entering the basement but also helps maintain the strength and stability of the foundation, protecting the home from further structural damage.

This project included the installation of approximately 200 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system and two AmeriSump pumps to manage groundwater effectively. About 2,000 square feet of the crawl space was encapsulated with CleanSpace vapor barrier, along with the installation of one Sedona dehumidifier to control moisture and improve air quality. Additional structural and access improvements included replacing or repairing 5 feet of sill plate, sistering three joists for added structural support, and installing one Turtle access entry to provide durable and secure crawl space access.
