In order to prevent further standing water, we installed our AkwaGard basement perimeter drainage system along with our SuperSump sump pump system.

July 21, 2021 | Anderson, IN

This project involved a full moisture management and structural reinforcement plan to protect the homeowner’s crawlspace. We installed 148 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System paired with one AmeriSump sump pump to efficiently collect and redirect groundwater away from the foundation. To control ground moisture and improve air quality, 1,360 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier was placed across the crawlspace floor. Our team also performed structural wood repairs, including 14 feet of rim joists and plate replacement, 6 feet of sill plate replacement, and the installation of 4 sister joists to reinforce weakened floor framing. For added protection against mold and wood decay, we applied Timbor Spray to all exposed structural wood components.

June 08, 2000 | Anderson, In

Americrawl completed a crawl space waterproofing and structural repair project that included the installation of 139 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system, one AmeriSump sump station, and 1,385 square feet of vapor barrier to protect the area from moisture and humidity. During inspection, sections of the sill plate were found to be deteriorated from long-term moisture exposure. Our team replaced 10 feet of damaged sill plate with new pressure-treated lumber, restoring the integrity of the foundation support. The newly installed AmeriDrain system efficiently channels groundwater into the AmeriSump pump system, which discharges it safely away from the home. The 6-mil vapor barrier was then placed across the crawl space floor to reduce humidity, mold potential, and future wood damage.

This basement had significant foundation issues, with walls beginning to bow inward due to hydrostatic pressure from the surrounding soil. To stabilize the structure and prevent further movement, our team installed 14 heavy-duty wall anchors along the bowing basement wall. These anchors were driven deep into stable soil outside the foundation and secured to steel anchor plates inside the basement. This system applies constant, adjustable pressure to the wall, effectively halting inward movement and helping to gradually restore the wall to a straighter position.

To repair a wet basement in Pendleton, Indiana, Americrawl provided a customized waterproofing solution by installing 15 linear feet of a partial basement drainage system and seamlessly tying it into the church’s existing drainage system. This interior perimeter drain was designed to effectively capture and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, helping to relieve hydrostatic pressure and prevent future water intrusion. By integrating the new drainage with the existing system, Americrawl ensured improved water management, enhanced foundation protection, and a drier, healthier basement environment. This professional basement waterproofing solution helps protect the home from moisture damage, mold growth, and long-term structural issues.
