The project involved stabilizing a sinking section of the foundation by installing six helical piers. After evaluating the settlement and identifying the affected areas, access points were excavated along the compromised foundation wall. Each helical pier was driven to the required load-bearing depth and torque, then secured with foundation brackets to transfer the building’s weight onto the new supports. A controlled lift was performed where possible to restore proper elevation, and the area was then backfilled and cleaned. The installation successfully stopped further settlement and provided long-term structural stability for the foundation.

Our team installed 180 linear feet of the AmeriDrain perimeter drainage system connected to a new AmeriSump pump station for reliable water removal. We also added five downspout extensions to direct roof runoff away from the home’s foundation. Inside the crawl space, 1,900 square feet of 6 Mil vapor barrier was laid to control ground moisture, while Timbor Spray was applied to all exposed wood surfaces for mold and pest prevention. For structural reinforcement, we installed 15 box header caps and replaced 15 square feet of subfloor support to strengthen weakened areas.

For this project, the Americrawl team installed 76 feet of AkwaGuard basement drainage system to address water intrusion and moisture buildup concerns along the basement perimeter. The AkwaGuard system is designed to effectively capture groundwater and channel it away from the foundation, keeping the basement dry and preventing long-term structural or mold-related damage.

For this wet crawlspace repair project for a previous customer in New Palestine, Indiana, Americrawl provided a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and encapsulation solution designed to help protect the home's structural integrity and improve indoor air quality. The project included the installation of 1,549 square feet of CleanSpace® crawlspace encapsulation liner to create a durable moisture barrier that helps reduce excess humidity, water vapor, and mold-friendly conditions. A new crawlspace dehumidifier was installed to maintain proper humidity levels year-round, while a replacement sump pump was added to efficiently remove groundwater and help keep the crawlspace dry. Our team also replaced 4 feet of damaged sill plate to restore structural support, installed a new crawlspace access door to improve energy efficiency and help seal out outside moisture and pests, and completed debris removal to create a cleaner, healthier crawlspace environment. Together, these proven crawlspace repair solutions help provide long-term moisture control, structural protection, and a healthier home.

For this project, our crew completed a series of improvements to both the drainage and structural integrity of the crawlspace. We installed 135 feet of AmeriDrain Crawlspace Drainage System, designed to effectively capture and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, helping to keep the space dry and protected. To further support water management, we added an AmeriSump sump station, ensuring reliable removal of any collected water and reducing the risk of flooding or moisture buildup. Structural repairs were also a key part of this job. Our team re-leveled the center beam to restore proper support throughout the crawlspace and completed six floor joist repairs to strengthen the home’s framing system. In addition, we replaced eight feet of rim joist and plate to address areas weakened by moisture damage. Lastly, we installed a durable vapor barrier, providing a protective layer that helps control humidity, reduce mold growth, and create a cleaner and healthier crawlspace environment.

August 16, 2013 | Greenfield, IN

Our  crew installed 177 linear feet of the AmeriDrain perimeter drainage system, directing collected water to a SuperSump pump station for efficient removal from the home. We then encapsulated 1,500 square feet with the CleanSpace encapsulation, creating a bright, sealed, and moisture-resistant environment. As an added layer of protection, Timbor Spray was applied to all exposed wood surfaces to help prevent future mold, mildew, and wood-destroying organisms.

June 19, 2013 | New Palestine, IN

The installation team completed a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and moisture-control project designed to protect the home from groundwater intrusion, excess humidity, and mold-related concerns. The work included the installation of 166 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to intercept groundwater seepage and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The drainage system was routed to one AmeriSump sump station, which was installed to efficiently collect and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. To further control moisture conditions beneath the home, 1,468 square feet of reinforced vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed around foundation surfaces and penetrations to create a continuous moisture barrier. This system helps prevent ground moisture from entering the crawlspace environment, reducing humidity levels and protecting structural components from moisture-related deterioration. In conjunction with the vapor barrier installation, Timbor wood treatment spray was applied throughout the crawlspace to exposed framing members and structural wood surfaces. This borate-based treatment helps inhibit mold growth, protects against fungal decay, and contributes to a healthier crawlspace environment. The project was completed with the installation of one steel crawlspace access door, providing a durable, secure, and weather-resistant entry point while helping maintain the integrity of the moisture-control system. Together, these improvements create a cleaner, drier, and more protected crawlspace designed for long-term performance and structural preservation.

For this repeat customer in Greenfield, our team installed a high-performance Ultra Sump Pump to effectively manage groundwater and prevent future moisture buildup. As part of our crawlspace repair system, we focused on improving drainage, controlling humidity, and protecting the home’s foundation from water damage. By combining proven Americrawl crawlspace waterproofing techniques with reliable equipment, we delivered a long-term solution that keeps the crawlspace dry, healthy, and structurally sound.

We trenched and buried 100 feet of downspout drainage to push rainwater away from his foundation.

June 28, 2007 | Greenfield, IN

Our expert crew completed a full crawlspace remediation and waterproofing upgrade to address moisture intrusion and improve long-term structural protection. The project began with a thorough crawlspace cleanout, removing debris and organic material to create a clean, workable environment and eliminate potential sources of moisture retention and microbial growth. To manage groundwater intrusion, 188 linear feet of AmeriDrain® interior drainage system was installed along the crawlspace perimeter at the footing level. The system was designed to intercept seepage and relieve hydrostatic pressure, directing collected water to one SuperSump® sump station. The SuperSump® was installed to efficiently discharge water away from the foundation through a dedicated exterior discharge line. For added reliability and protection during power outages, an UltraSump® battery backup system was integrated to ensure continued pump operation if the primary pump loses power. Additionally, Timbor® wood treatment spray was applied to exposed framing members throughout the crawlspace to inhibit mold growth and help protect against fungal decay. Together, these improvements provide comprehensive moisture control, enhanced system reliability, and long-term protection of the crawlspace structure.
