Americrawl completed a full crawl space improvement project designed to address both moisture control and structural stability concerns. The installation included 136 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system paired with one SuperSump sump station to efficiently capture and redirect groundwater away from the foundation. To further protect the space, 1,100 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed, creating a durable moisture barrier that seals the crawl space from humidity and vapor intrusion. A Sedona dehumidifier was added to maintain ideal humidity levels and prevent mold or wood decay over time. For structural reinforcement, a 20-foot steel I-beam was installed along with four SmartJack adjustable support posts, providing long-term stabilization to sagging floor joists and restoring proper floor levels above.

 We installed 98 linear feet of the AmeriDrain® perimeter drainage system to direct water into a newly installed AmeriSump® sump pump, ensuring reliable removal away from the foundation. For added protection, 980 square feet of heavy-duty vapor barrier was applied across the crawl space floor to reduce ground moisture and create a cleaner environment.

This customer in Carmel contacted Americrawl to repair a wet crawlspace and protect their home from ongoing moisture problems. Our team installed 1,229 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier to help seal the crawlspace and create a cleaner, healthier, and more energy-efficient environment beneath the home. We also installed a crawlspace drainage system designed to capture and direct water away from the foundation to help keep the area dry year-round. To further protect the structure, TimBor spray was applied to exposed wood surfaces to help resist mold, and weep holes were installed to allow trapped water within the foundation walls to properly drain. These crawlspace waterproofing solutions work together to help improve indoor air quality, reduce excess humidity, and provide long-term protection against moisture damage.

Additionally, we completed two lintel footing pours, providing extra structural stability and reinforcement in areas that required additional support.

Our crew installed approximately 300 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a durable and continuous moisture barrier within the crawlspace, helping to reduce ground moisture and control overall humidity levels. As part of the project, insulation was installed in the floor joist cavities to improve energy efficiency, reduce heat loss, and support more consistent indoor comfort throughout the home. In addition, Timbor Spray was professionally applied to exposed wood surfaces to help inhibit mold growth and protect against wood-destroying organisms. This treatment adds an extra layer of protection to the framing components, supporting long-term durability. Collectively, these upgrades improve moisture control, enhance thermal performance, and help preserve the structural integrity and overall condition of the crawlspace and floor system.

This project involved extensive structural wood repairs to restore strength and stability to the home’s crawlspace. Our team replaced 24 feet of rim joists and plate and 48 feet of sill plate to address areas weakened by age and moisture. Additionally, 38 full-length 2x8 floor joists were replaced and reinforced with 6 sister joists of the same dimension to restore proper floor support. For additional structural integrity, a 2x6 helper beam measuring 7 feet long and 3 boards wide was installed, supported by 2 concrete piers to distribute load and reinforce the crawlspace framework. These repairs addressed compromised support and ensured the home’s flooring system is now fully stabilized.

Americrawl performed a SealFlex crack repair on a leaking basement wall crack. The process involved sealing the crack with an elastic waterproof coating designed to flex with foundation movement while preventing further water intrusion. The repair ensures a watertight seal, helping to protect the basement from moisture damage, mold growth, and structural deterioration.
