Our crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace improvement project focused on long-term moisture control and accessibility. An AmeriDrain crawlspace drainage system was installed along the perimeter to effectively collect and channel groundwater away from the foundation, helping to relieve hydrostatic pressure and prevent water intrusion into the crawlspace. The system was carefully positioned to ensure proper slope and consistent flow, providing reliable performance during heavy rain conditions. To further manage moisture, a durable vapor barrier was installed over the crawlspace floor, creating continuous ground coverage to reduce moisture evaporation and control humidity levels. The vapor barrier was properly secured and sealed at seams and penetrations to maximize effectiveness and durability. In addition, a new crawlspace access door was installed to provide secure, weather-resistant, and convenient entry into the crawlspace for future service and inspections. Collectively, this work improves moisture management, protects structural components from deterioration, and results in a cleaner, drier, and more stable crawlspace environment.

We also performed a complete vent replacement to ensure proper airflow and prevent future moisture intrusion. To enhance system efficiency, the new drainage system was tied directly into the customer’s existing sump pump, providing reliable water removal. For this project, our team installed 90 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system along the perimeter of the crawl space. This system is designed to capture groundwater and channel it efficiently to the sump station, preventing any water accumulation that could lead to moisture damage. As part of the preparation, we performed a full crawl space cleanout covering 504 square feet, removing all debris, old insulation, and any organic material that could contribute to mold growth or poor air quality. To ensure effective water removal, we installed one SuperSump sump station, providing reliable pumping capacity and long-term protection against flooding and standing water. Next, we encapsulated the crawl space using 504 square feet of CleanSpace liner, creating a durable vapor barrier to lock out ground moisture. This encapsulation improves the overall energy efficiency of the home and significantly reduces humidity levels. Finally, for added structural protection, we applied 504 square feet of Timbor treatment to all exposed wooden components, such as joists, beams, and sill plates. This treatment helps prevent mold, mildew, and wood-destroying insects from compromising the integrity of the structure.

For this project, our team installed 160 linear feet of the AmeriDrain Drainage System along the crawl space perimeter to direct groundwater away from the foundation. To ensure effective water removal, we added a SuperSump sump station, providing reliable pumping capacity during periods of heavy rain. The crawl space was also thoroughly cleaned out to remove debris and prepare the area for encapsulation. Once cleared, we installed 1,680 square feet of vapor barrier, sealing the ground to help control moisture, reduce humidity, and protect the home from mold and mildew concerns.
