The installation team completed the replacement of the existing basement sump pump with one new Zoeller M53 sump pump to restore reliable groundwater management and improve system performance. The old pump was carefully removed, and the new cast-iron M53 pump was installed within the existing sump basin and properly connected to the discharge system. The Zoeller M53 is a high-quality, automatic sump pump designed for dependable residential use, providing efficient water removal and long-term durability. Following installation, the system was tested to verify proper operation, float switch function, and discharge performance. This replacement helps ensure reliable protection against water intrusion and supports a dry, protected basement environment.

Our expert crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace structural repair and ventilation project addressing multiple components of the floor system and foundation framing. The project included the replacement of five crawlspace vents to improve the condition and functionality of the crawlspace openings. Our expert crew replaced 27 linear feet of rim joist and 42 linear feet of deteriorated sill plate, restoring compromised wood components and helping reestablish proper structural support along the foundation perimeter. The crew also replaced 28 linear feet of center beam, providing improved support for the floor system. To further strengthen the floor structure, our expert crew installed 10 sister floor joists alongside existing joists to reinforce weakened areas. In addition, 17 full-length floor joists were replaced, addressing severely deteriorated or structurally compromised framing. These repairs provide substantial structural reinforcement to the crawlspace and help improve the stability, support, and long-term performance of the home's floor system.

This project involved a comprehensive crawl space upgrade to address both water intrusion and structural concerns. We installed 138 linear feet of the AmeriDrain Drainage System, designed to efficiently capture and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, helping prevent future moisture issues. To manage collected water, we installed one AmeriSump sump station, providing a reliable and effective solution for keeping the crawl space dry. For added structural integrity, we replaced 64 feet of sill plate with new, pressure-treated lumber to restore the strength of the crawl space perimeter. Additionally, six sister joists were installed to reinforce existing floor joists, ensuring the flooring system remains solid and stable. Finally, we installed a durable 6-mil vapor barrier throughout the crawl space. This moisture-control layer helps reduce humidity, prevent mold growth, and create a cleaner, healthier environment beneath the home.
