Benefits of Taking Our Basement Waterproofing Services

No matter whether you need drainage systems installation, dehumidification service, leaking crack repair, or basement flooring systems, taking help from our licensed contractor will provide the benefits below:

A beautifully set-up Waterproofed basement

Protection of the Property: Since basement waterproofing prevents the water from reaching the structural parts of the basement, this part as well as the whole building stays safe from water damage. That ultimately retains the integrity of the whole property. Apart from the infrastructural sections, the absence of excess moisture will also keep the home appliances free from damage.

Comfort & Hygiene: Safety and comfort are essential for a worry-free home. Excess moisture can foster mold and pests, affecting air quality and causing health problems. Dampness and odors reduce HVAC efficiency, disrupting the preferred indoor environment. A basement waterproofing system prevents these issues, ensuring hygiene and comfort. Our systems also come with a transferable lifetime warranty, providing long-term protection and peace of mind for homeowners.

Basement Waterproofing Saves Money & Expands Usable Space

The uninterrupted service of the HVAC systems consumes energy at a moderate level. So, it will keep the electricity bill at a reasonable level. Without any compromise in the performance, the air conditioning or the heating systems will also have an expanded lifespan with less or no chance of damage. That will save an amount of money.

A dry, fresh, and healthy basement can broaden the total space of your home and it's going to benefit you. This lower level of the home can be turned into a recreational room, library, gym, guest room, and even a home office whenever you want. All you just need to do is keep water away from the place. Basement waterproofing would be an ideal step for that.

Why Are Sump Pump Repair & Maintenance Necessary?

The common objective of a sump pump system and the basement waterproofing system is the same. It is to keep the basement safe from the damage of water damage. The sump pump doesn't let the water accumulate on the floor of the basement floor and thus the place stays dry.

What sump pump services do is to make sure that the water drainage systems work properly so that they can drain away the excess water outside the building. That's why we offer a wide range of sump pump services to keep your property safe from basement water issues.

We select the right sump pump and install it to meet all standards and regulations. Through timely repairs and regular maintenance, we address defects and detect potential issues early. Our comprehensive services protect your home from basement flooding, dampness, odors, mold growth, pest infestations, and humidity-related health concerns.

With our expert services, we make sure that your basement remains dry and safe, giving you peace of mind and preserving the integrity of your home.

To control water intrusion, our team installed the AmeriDrain® interior drainage system along the crawl space perimeter. This system directs groundwater to the sump pump and discharges away from the foundation, keeping the space dry even during the rainy season. A polyethylene vapor barrier was then installed across the crawl space floor to reduce ground moisture. The barrier was laid with overlapping seams, secured around piers, and anchored in place. Finally, the entire crawl space’s exposed wood surfaces were treated with Tim-bor®, a borate-based solution that helps prevent mold growth, wood decay, and damage from wood-destroying insects. This step provides long-term protection for critical structural components like floor joists, beams, and sill plates.

To address these concerns, Americrawl installed the AmeriDrain® interior drainage system along the perimeter of the crawl space. This system diverts and channels groundwater to the newly installed AmeriSump® pump station, a reliable sump pump designed to quickly remove water and discharge it safely away from the home’s foundation. To help manage ground moisture and improve air quality, a 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier was installed across the crawl space floor. The barrier was carefully laid with overlapping seams, sealed, and secured around piers to create a continuous protective layer..
