We performed her foundation repair

May 04, 1999 | Oaklandon, IN

Americrawl recently completed a crawlspace repair project in Oaklandon, Indiana, improving moisture control, energy efficiency, and home protection. Our team installed a professional crawlspace drainage system to collect and channel excess water away from the foundation, preventing structural damage. We also performed a full vent replacement to enhance airflow and reduce moisture buildup. In addition, Americrawl completed a crawl access door replacement, ensuring secure entry while keeping pests and outdoor elements out. To further improve conditions, fiberglass insulation removal was performed, eliminating damp, mold-prone materials. These Americrawl crawlspace solutions provide healthier air quality, stronger protection, and long-term home value.

November 26, 2007 | Indianapolis, IN

To repair a damp crawlspace in Indianapolis, Indiana, we installed a complete CleanSpace® crawlspace encapsulation system to help protect the home from excess moisture, humidity, and musty odors. The durable CleanSpace vapor barrier was professionally installed across the crawlspace floor and walls, creating a clean, dry environment while helping to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality. By sealing the crawlspace from ground moisture, this encapsulation system helps prevent mold growth, wood deterioration, and other moisture-related issues. This long-term crawlspace moisture control solution provides homeowners with a healthier, more protected foundation and greater peace of mind.

December 05, 2014 | Indianapolis, IN

After a careful evaluation, our team recommended and installed a new 78-foot discharge line designed to carry pumped water far away from the home’s foundation to a safe drainage location. The project involved trenching a precise path for the line, ensuring proper slope for efficient water flow, and using durable piping materials built to withstand year-round weather conditions. The extended discharge route now ensures that water collected by the sump pump is directed well beyond the home’s backfill zone, eliminating the risk of recycled seepage and reducing hydrostatic pressure around the foundation. The line was securely connected to the sump pump outlet, with all joints sealed and tested for leak-free performance. The homeowner was extremely pleased with the results, noting improved pump efficiency, a cleaner discharge path, and the added peace of mind that their basement is better protected during storms. They also appreciated Americrawl’s attention to detail, tidy workmanship, and dedication to providing a long-term solution rather than a temporary fix.

The Americrawl team installed 37 feet of exterior foundation drainage to help divert water away from the home’s foundation and prevent moisture intrusion. Additionally, three downspout extensions were installed to properly channel roof runoff, reducing water accumulation near the structure. To further improve yard drainage, a 35-foot French drain system was installed in the yard to direct surface and subsurface water away from problem areas.

November 07, 2007 | Indianapolis, IN

This homeowner contacted Americrawl after noticing musty odors and signs of mold growth coming from their crawl space. Upon inspection, our team discovered elevated humidity levels, visible mold on exposed wood framing, and general debris buildup throughout the space—all contributing to poor air quality and potential structural issues. The project began with a full crawl space cleanout, where our crew removed old insulation, organic debris, and any material contributing to mold growth and excess moisture. This cleared the way for proper treatment and encapsulation. Next, our team performed a full mold treatment using Tim-bor, a professional-grade borate-based treatment designed to eliminate surface mold and inhibit future fungal growth. This treatment was carefully applied to all affected wood surfaces, ensuring a safe and effective remediation process. To prevent moisture from returning, we installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system—a 20 mil liner securely attached to the walls and floors of the crawl space. This system effectively seals the space from the earth, drastically reducing moisture intrusion and creating a clean, controlled environment. To maintain healthy humidity levels year-round, we also installed a Sedona dehumidifier, one of the most energy-efficient crawl space units on the market. This unit works continuously to manage relative humidity and prevent conditions favorable to mold growth and wood decay.

December 08, 2009 | Indianapolis, IN

Our crews installed 128 linear feet of AkwaGuard basement drainage system, directing water to a new AmeriSump pump station equipped with an M53 Zoller for efficient and dependable water removal. This system ensures that water is safely discharged away from the foundation, keeping the basement dry during heavy rains.

March 05, 2019 | Fishers, IN

This project included a comprehensive crawl space improvement plan to address water intrusion, moisture control, and accessibility. Our team installed 65 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System to effectively channel groundwater and prevent water accumulation within the crawl space. This high-performance drainage system ensures long-term protection against moisture damage and helps maintain a dry, stable foundation. To further enhance moisture control, we applied a 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor, creating a protective seal that reduces humidity and helps prevent mold and wood rot. The entire crawl space was thoroughly cleaned out, removing all debris, old insulation, and organic materials that could contribute to future issues. Additionally, we installed a Turtle Crawl Space Access System, providing a secure, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance entry point. This access door is designed for durability, improving both the functionality and energy efficiency of the crawl space.

March 23, 2016 | Fishers, IN

Our expert crew installed 2,447 square feet of reinforced vapor barrier across the crawlspace floor and sealed it along foundation surfaces to effectively isolate the area from ground moisture and humidity. In conjunction with the encapsulation work, a Timbor® mold treatment spray was applied to exposed wood framing members to inhibit fungal growth and help protect the structure from future microbial activity. Together, these measures improve overall air quality, reduce moisture-related risks, and promote a cleaner, healthier, and more durable crawlspace environment.

June 13, 2008 | Fortville, IN

This job involved the installation of 100 linear feet of the AkwaGuard Basement Drainage System, a highly effective interior drainage solution designed to capture water seepage along the foundation walls and floor joint, directing it safely to the sump system. To complete the waterproofing system, we installed one AmeriSump sump station, which provides reliable pumping power to remove collected water and keep the basement dry.

April 23, 2004 | Fishers, IN

Americrawl provided expert structural wood repair to restore stability and safety in the home’s crawlspace. Our team repaired damaged rim joist & plate, sill plate and sister joists.

Using proven solutions, we ensured long-lasting protection against wood rot, moisture issues, and foundation concerns, improving the crawlspace’s integrity and home value.

October 22, 2012 | Indianapolis, IN

The installation team completed a comprehensive foundation stabilization and structural reinforcement project to restore the home's structural integrity and address foundation settlement. The work included the installation of eight (8) helical piers to permanently stabilize the affected foundation. Each helical pier was mechanically advanced into the soil to a specified installation torque, indicating that competent load-bearing strata had been reached. Engineered foundation brackets were then secured to the structure, allowing the home's load to be transferred from unstable soils to the deeper, more stable bearing layers. This underpinning system is designed to prevent further settlement and provide long-term foundation support. In addition to the foundation stabilization, 43 linear feet of the center beam was replaced to restore proper support beneath the home's floor system. The new center beam was carefully installed and properly supported to provide continuous load-bearing capacity, improve load distribution, and replace deteriorated or compromised structural members. Together, these improvements strengthen both the foundation and floor framing, providing a durable, long-term solution that enhances the overall stability, safety, and structural performance of the home.
