Americrawls team installed 218 linear feet of AkwaGuard basement drainage system along the full perimeter of the basement to efficiently capture and direct groundwater away from the foundation. A SuperSump sump station was added to provide powerful and reliable water removal, helping to prevent future flooding or moisture buildup.

Our expert crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace stabilization and moisture-control project designed to protect the structure and improve long-term performance. The work included installation of 148 linear feet of the AmeriDrain interior drainage system along the crawlspace perimeter to intercept groundwater and relieve hydrostatic pressure. The drainage line was routed to a newly installed AmeriSump sump station to efficiently collect and discharge water away from the foundation. Structural repairs were also performed to restore proper load paths and reinforce compromised framing members. The crew replaced 22 linear feet of rim joist and plate, installed 56 linear feet of new sill plate, and reinforced the floor system with nine sistered joists to strengthen weakened areas and provide additional support. To address ground moisture and humidity, 1,344 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed to the foundation surfaces, creating a durable vapor barrier that helps isolate the home from damp soil conditions. The project was completed with the replacement of one steel crawlspace access door, improving security, insulation, and overall durability. Together, these upgrades deliver enhanced structural integrity, reliable water management, and a cleaner, drier crawlspace environment.

For this project, we installed 196 feet of the AmeriDrain drainage system to effectively manage groundwater and direct it away from the foundation. To provide a complete moisture barrier, the crawlspace was sealed with 1,800 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system, creating a durable and protective lining that safeguards against humidity and vapor intrusion. The sump system was also enhanced with a Safe Sump upgrade, giving the homeowner an added layer of reliability in handling water removal during heavy rains. To ensure the home’s wooden structural components are preserved, we applied 1,800 square feet of Timbor spray treatment.

We completed a full crawl space cleanout, removing all debris to create a safe and accessible work area. As part of the structural reinforcement process, our team replaced 66 feet of 2x8 center beam, ensuring proper load distribution and restoring structural integrity. To provide long-term stability and correct any settling or sagging, we installed 11 SmartJack adjustable jack posts beneath the new beam. These high-strength supports are designed to permanently stabilize and lift the floor system as needed.

To repair this wet crawlspace in Lebanon, Indiana, Americrawl installed a comprehensive waterproofing and structural repair system designed to keep the area dry, healthy, and structurally sound. The project began with a debris cleanout, followed by the installation of 139 linear feet of crawlspace drainage to collect and direct groundwater to a high-performance sump pump with a discharge line. To further protect the home from moisture, 1,250 square feet of CleanSpace® crawlspace encapsulation was installed, creating a durable vapor barrier that helps control humidity and improves energy efficiency. TimBor® was applied to help protect exposed wood from mold and wood-destroying organisms. Structural repairs included 10 feet of rim joist and plate replacement, 10 feet of sill plate replacement, and the installation of 6 box header caps to restore strength and stability to the crawlspace. Finally, a dehumidifier was added to maintain proper humidity levels year-round, providing a cleaner, drier, and healthier crawlspace environment.
