This project included a comprehensive crawl space improvement plan to address water intrusion, moisture control, and accessibility. Our team installed 65 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System to effectively channel groundwater and prevent water accumulation within the crawl space. This high-performance drainage system ensures long-term protection against moisture damage and helps maintain a dry, stable foundation.
To further enhance moisture control, we applied a 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor, creating a protective seal that reduces humidity and helps prevent mold and wood rot. The entire crawl space was thoroughly cleaned out, removing all debris, old insulation, and organic materials that could contribute to future issues.
Additionally, we installed a Turtle Crawl Space Access System, providing a secure, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance entry point. This access door is designed for durability, improving both the functionality and energy efficiency of the crawl space.
