For this project, our crew installed 206 linear feet of the AmeriDrain Drainage System along the crawl space perimeter to properly channel groundwater and prevent moisture buildup. To complement the drainage system, we added one AmeriSump Sump Station, ensuring reliable water removal during heavy rains.
Structural improvements were also completed, including the replacement of three feet of rim joist and plate as well as the installation of one sister joist cap, reinforcing the integrity of the floor system.
To improve ventilation and efficiency, new vent replacements were installed, helping regulate airflow in the crawl space. Finally, the entire area was covered with 1,862 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier, creating a protective seal over the soil and minimizing moisture transfer into the home.
