Job completed for Kathy A.
Completion date: June 21, 2001
Location: Carmel, IN
Solutions provided:
This project involved extensive structural wood repairs to restore strength and stability to the home’s crawlspace. Our team replaced 24 feet of rim joists and plate and 48 feet of sill plate to address areas weakened by age and moisture. Additionally, 38 full-length 2x8 floor joists were replaced and reinforced with 6 sister joists of the same dimension to restore proper floor support.
For additional structural integrity, a 2x6 helper beam measuring 7 feet long and 3 boards wide was installed, supported by 2 concrete piers to distribute load and reinforce the crawlspace framework. These repairs addressed compromised support and ensured the home’s flooring system is now fully stabilized.
