This project involved a full moisture management and structural reinforcement plan to protect the homeowner’s crawlspace. We installed 148 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System paired with one AmeriSump sump pump to efficiently collect and redirect groundwater away from the foundation.
To control ground moisture and improve air quality, 1,360 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier was placed across the crawlspace floor. Our team also performed structural wood repairs, including 14 feet of rim joists and plate replacement, 6 feet of sill plate replacement, and the installation of 4 sister joists to reinforce weakened floor framing.
For added protection against mold and wood decay, we applied Timbor Spray to all exposed structural wood components.
