Job completed for Dustin A.
Completion date: December 22, 2021
Location: Pendleton, IN
Solutions provided:
Brian and crew installed basement wall anchors along the affected walls. These anchors work by applying gradual outward pressure, pulling the walls back toward their original alignment, and locking them into a stable position. This system not only addresses the existing bowing but also provides a permanent safeguard against future movement caused by soil expansion, hydrostatic pressure, and seasonal ground shifts.
For added strength, our crew installed twelve 4-inch steel I-beam stabilizers, each measuring 8 feet in length. These beams were anchored securely to the floor and the floor joists above, delivering constant vertical and lateral support to the foundation walls. The combination of wall anchors and steel I-beams provides a dual layer of protection ensuring that both immediate stabilization and long-term structural integrity are achieved.
