To resolve these issues, Americrawl installed a CleanSpace® encapsulation system, creating a fully sealed barrier across the crawl space floor and walls to block ground moisture and enhance overall indoor air quality. The AmeriDrain® drainage system was incorporated to efficiently channel any water entering the crawl space toward the sump pump, ensuring a dry environment year-round.
A Sedona® dehumidifier was added to maintain ideal humidity levels, preventing mold growth and protecting the home’s structural wood. Finally, all exposed wood surfaces were treated with Tim-bor®, a borate-based solution that safeguards against mold, mildew, and wood destroying insects.
