Americrawl installed a full perimeter drainage system to capture groundwater and channel it to a new AmeriSump® pump station. This dependable, high-capacity pump discharges water away from the home, keeping the crawl space dry even in severe weather.
We then installed a 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier across the crawl space floor. The barrier was overlapped, sealed, and secured around all piers to create a continuous layer that reduces ground moisture evaporation and improves overall air quality.
