Why did the customer contact us?

This homeowner contacted Americrawl after experiencing recurring water intrusion and damp conditions in their crawl space. The excess moisture was creating musty odors, increasing humidity levels in the home.

Solutions provided:

To address these concerns, Americrawl installed the AmeriDrain® interior drainage system along the perimeter of the crawl space. This system diverts and channels groundwater to the newly installed AmeriSump® pump station, a reliable sump pump designed to quickly remove water and discharge it safely away from the home’s foundation.
To help manage ground moisture and improve air quality, a 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier was installed across the crawl space floor. The barrier was carefully laid with overlapping seams, sealed, and secured around piers to create a continuous protective layer..
