Why did the customer contact us?

This homeowner reached out to Americrawl seeking a permanent solution to persistent moisture, musty odors, and deteriorating conditions in their crawl space. Over the years, the damp environment had begun affecting the air quality inside the home and threatening the integrity of the floor structure above.

Following a detailed inspection, Americrawl recommended a full CleanSpace® encapsulation system—a proven method for sealing and protecting crawl spaces from ground moisture, outside air, and humidity.
The installation process began with clearing debris, leveling the ground where needed, and addressing any minor repairs to ensure a smooth and stable base. The CleanSpace® liner, a thick, reinforced, antimicrobial 20 Mil. Liner, was then carefully installed across the crawl space floor and secured to the foundation walls and piers. This created a continuous sealed envelope that blocks moisture infiltration and prevents mold growth.
To complete the encapsulation, all crawl space vents were sealed to prevent outside air from entering. The bright white finish of the CleanSpace® liner also significantly improved the appearance and lighting in the crawl space, making future inspections and maintenance easier.
