Job completed for Ross A.

Completion date: May 14, 2015

Location: Upland, IN

Solutions provided:

This homeowner contacted Americrawl due to ongoing water intrusion and damp conditions in their crawl space. After a thorough inspection, our team recommended a comprehensive solution to address both standing water and moisture control.
We began by installing a crawl space drainage system designed to collect and redirect groundwater to prevent pooling beneath the home. This system ensures that any incoming water is efficiently managed and routed away from the foundation.
To support this drainage system, we installed the AmeriSump sump station, a high-performance sump pump unit that collects water from the perimeter system and discharges it safely away from the home. This sealed system includes a durable liner and cover to help control odors and humidity.
To further protect the crawl space from moisture rising from the soil, we installed a 6-mil vapor barrier across the entire floor of the space. This layer acts as a protective shield, reducing humidity and helping to improve overall air quality in the home
