This homeowner reached out to Americrawl after experiencing recurring water intrusion and dampness in their basement. Water was seeping in along the perimeter walls during heavy rains, causing concern over potential damage to stored belongings and long-term structural issues.
After a thorough inspection by our team, it was determined that the most effective solution would involve the installation of the AkwaGuard basement drainage system along with a SuperSump sump station to properly manage water collection and removal.
The AkwaGuard drainage system was installed along the basement perimeter to efficiently capture groundwater and surface water seepage at the wall-floor joint. This system is engineered to redirect water into a designated pump basin before it can reach the finished or storage areas of the basement, providing a dry and secure environment even during heavy rainfall.
At the heart of this system, we installed the SuperSump sump station, a premium sump pump system designed for high-performance water removal. Featuring a durable liner, airtight lid, and powerful cast-iron pump, the SuperSump provides reliable protection against basement flooding while operating quietly and efficiently. The system also includes a built-in alarm to alert homeowners of any potential issues before they become major problems.
