Job completed for Renne A.
Completion date: March 19, 2003
Location: New Castle, IN
Solutions provided:
We recently had the opportunity to assist a homeowner with much-needed structural repairs in their crawl space. Upon inspection, our team identified significant deterioration in several key support components, including the floor joists, sill plate, and rim joist. Our technician Tommy carefully removed the deteriorated wood and replaced it with new, treated lumber designed to withstand moisture and resist future decay. We reinforced the floor joists, installed a new sill plate along the foundation wall, and replaced the damaged rim joist to reestablish proper load distribution. In addition, we took preventative measures to improve moisture control in the crawl space to help protect the structure moving forward.
