Our customer purchased a home in May we gave them a quote for piers installation for foundation issues that were found in the inspection. We installed two foundation DynaPiers. These piers provide extra support to keep that section of the home stable and prevent further settling.

Our team completed a structural repair project to restore stability and integrity to the floor system. The work included the installation of eleven (11) full-length 2” x 8” x 12’ floor joists, providing essential reinforcement to weakened or compromised framing. To further strengthen load-bearing points, we installed five (5) box header caps, ensuring proper distribution of structural loads across critical areas. For additional support under key sections of the floor, we installed an 8-foot steel I-beam, offering long-lasting strength and stability. This beam was paired with two (2) adjustable SmartJacks, which provide precise height adjustment and support to correct sagging floors and prevent future settlement.

Americrawl installed the AmeriDrain® interior drainage system to capture groundwater and direct it to the SuperSump® pump station for reliable removal. The CleanSpace® encapsulation system was applied across the crawl space floor and walls to create a durable moisture barrier, while a Sedona® dehumidifier was added to maintain healthy humidity levels year-round. Our team also replaced the compromised center beam, restoring the structural integrity of the home. All affected wood surfaces were treated with a professional mold remover to eliminate existing growth and prevent recurrence.

For this home, our team installed 145 feet of AkwaGuard Drainage System to effectively manage groundwater around the foundation. To ensure reliable water removal, we added two SuperSump Sump Stations, along with an UltraSump Battery Backup System to provide extra protection in the event of a power outage. To maintain a dry, healthy environment long-term, we also installed a Sedona Dehumidifier, which helps control humidity and improve air quality in the basement.

After a thorough inspection, Americrawl recommended the installation of 4 heavy-duty wall anchors to permanently stabilize and secure the wall. This proven method works by connecting the bowing wall to anchor plates buried in stable soil outside the foundation, counteracting the pressure that caused the wall to move inward. The installation process involved minimal disruption to the property. Precise anchor points were marked, small excavation areas were created outdoors, and steel anchor rods were driven through the wall to connect to the exterior anchor plates. Inside, low-profile wall plates were secured to distribute the pulling force evenly, gradually restoring the wall toward its original position. Once installed, the anchors immediately stopped further movement and provided the homeowner with a transferable long-term warranty. The customer was highly satisfied with the results, noting the professionalism of the crew, the clean worksite, and the confidence that their home’s foundation is now permanently reinforced against soil pressure.

To restore the home’s structural integrity, Americrawl’s crew replaced damaged floor joists with new, lumber, ensuring proper load support and stability. Sections of the sill plate between the home’s walls and foundation were removed and replaced where rot had compromised. The rim joist and plate were also repaired or replaced as needed, sealing gaps and restoring a tight structural connection. To improve accessibility and protection, a new crawl space access door was installed. This upgrade allows for easier entry during future inspections.

To solve the problem, we installed the AkwaGuard® basement drainage system to divert water to the home’s sump pump for water extraction. We then applied the CleanSpace® wall system, a bright, waterproof liner that not only prevents wall moisture from entering the space but also channels water directly into the drainage system. To further protect the basement, a Sedona® dehumidifier was added to lower humididty levels in the basement

Americrawl performed a complete crawl space cleanout to remove debris, damaged insulation, and any organic material that could contribute to moisture buildup or mold growth. After preparing the area, the team installed 110 feet of AmeriDrain drainage system to efficiently capture and direct groundwater to the new AmeriSump sump station, ensuring the space stays dry during heavy rainfall or seasonal changes. To further protect the area, 500 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation system was applied, sealing the crawl space from the earth’s moisture and creating a clean, dry, and energy-efficient environment. To maintain optimal humidity levels year-round, a SaniDry dehumidifier was also installed to help control moisture and improve indoor air quality throughout the home.
