Completion date: July 8, 2025
Location: Middletown, IN
Solutions provided:
Our expert crew improved the crawl space moisture control system by replacing the existing sump pump with a new Zoeller M-53 cast iron sump pump, providing reliable and efficient water removal to help protect the home from future water intrusion. The sump pump discharge line was also extended farther into the yard to ensure water is carried safely away from the foundation, reducing the risk of recirculation and foundation moisture issues. To further protect the crawl space, our team installed 1,300 square feet of durable 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor to minimize ground moisture and humidity. We also applied 1,300 square feet of Timbor Spray to the exposed wood framing, helping protect against mold, wood-decaying fungi, and wood-destroying insects. Together, these improvements create a cleaner, drier crawl space and provide long-term protection for the home's foundation and structural components.
