Upon inspection, Americrawl's Inspector / Design Specialist Tyler identified excessive moisture accumulation due to inadequate drainage. The presence of mold indicated prolonged damp conditions, compromising the home's structural integrity and indoor air quality. To address these issues, a tailored plan was devised, focusing on effective drainage, moisture control, and mold treatment.

The first step involved installing the AmeriDrain system, specifically designed to manage water intrusion in crawl spaces. This perimeter drainage solution efficiently captures and redirects water away from the foundation, preventing pooling and reducing humidity levels. By mitigating water accumulation, AmeriDrain plays a crucial role in preserving the crawl space environment and protecting the home's foundation.

To complement the drainage system, the AmeriSump sump pump was installed, featuring a 15-foot discharge line to ensure water is expelled safely away from the home's perimeter, thereby offering peace of mind during heavy rainfall or flooding events.

Addressing the mold issue, Americrawl applied Timbor spray, a borate-based wood preservative that protects against mold and mildew. This eco-friendly treatment penetrates deeply into the wood, offering long-term protection without compromising indoor air quality.
