Serving Indiana Since 1993

Job completed for Stephen&Nicole B.

Completion date: November 21, 2011

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Solutions provided:

The installation team completed the installation of 148 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level within a perimeter trench to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location.
To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. For added protection and system reliability, one UltraSump® battery backup system was integrated to provide continued pump operation during power outages or primary pump failure.
Additionally, one Sedona dehumidifier was installed to actively control humidity levels and maintain balanced moisture conditions within the basement, helping to prevent mold growth and improve air quality. To enhance wall protection and direct any wall seepage into the drainage system, 154 linear feet of CleanSpace wall system was installed along the foundation walls. Together, these components create a comprehensive waterproofing and moisture-control solution designed to keep the basement dry, protected, and healthy over the long term.
