The installation team completed the installation of 80 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively capture groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was carefully installed at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the discharge point.
To enhance system reliability, one UltraSump battery backup system was installed to provide continued pump operation during power outages or primary pump failure, offering added protection against basement flooding. In addition, one exterior downspout extension was installed to help direct roof runoff away from the foundation, reducing surface water accumulation near the home. Together, these improvements strengthen the overall water management system and help maintain a dry, protected basement environment.
