The installation team completed the installation of 116 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can reach the basement floor. The drainage channel was carefully installed within a perimeter trench at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location.

To manage the collected water, one AmeriSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home’s foundation through a dedicated exterior discharge line. In addition, one IceGuard discharge line protection system was installed on the exterior to help prevent backups in the event the discharge line becomes frozen or obstructed during colder temperatures. Together, these components create a reliable basement waterproofing system designed to protect the foundation and maintain a dry, controlled basement environment.
