The installation team completed the installation of 94 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location.
To manage the collected water, one AmeriSump® sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. In addition, one IceGuard discharge line system was installed on the exterior to help prevent backups in the event of freezing or blockage, ensuring year-round system performance.
To further enhance moisture control, 94 linear feet of CleanSpace wall system was installed along the foundation walls to help direct any wall seepage into the drainage system while improving the overall appearance of the basement. Together, these components provide a reliable and comprehensive waterproofing solution designed to maintain a dry, protected basement environment.
