Job completed for Derek B

Completion date: December 6, 2004

Location: Anderson, IN

Solutions provided:

The installation team completed the installation of a partial interior crawlspace drainage system to address groundwater intrusion in the affected areas beneath the home. The drainage system was strategically installed along the sections of the crawlspace experiencing moisture infiltration and was tied into the existing sump station, allowing collected groundwater to be efficiently directed into the home's existing water management system for discharge away from the foundation. To further reduce moisture and humidity, a 6-mil vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor to help prevent ground moisture from migrating into the crawlspace environment. The vapor barrier was carefully laid and secured to provide continuous coverage over the treated area, helping to minimize condensation, reduce humidity levels, and protect the home's structural components from moisture-related deterioration. Together, these improvements provide an effective moisture-control solution by combining targeted groundwater collection with ground vapor protection, helping maintain a cleaner, drier, and healthier crawlspace while extending the life of the home's structural framing and foundation.
