Job completed for Dale B
Completion date: September 10, 2019
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
The installation team completed the installation of 196 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level within a perimeter trench and designed to provide continuous water collection and reliable flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently collect and discharge groundwater away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. The SuperSump provides dependable, high-capacity performance and is designed to protect the basement from water intrusion during periods of heavy rainfall and elevated groundwater conditions. In addition, 19 linear feet of trench drain was installed to capture surface water and prevent it from entering the basement through vulnerable entry points. The trench drain was strategically positioned and integrated with the waterproofing system to direct collected water into the drainage network for proper discharge. Together, these improvements create a comprehensive basement waterproofing solution that helps maintain a dry, protected environment and reduces the risk of future water-related damage.
