The installation team completed a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and structural restoration project designed to improve long-term stability, moisture control, and overall crawlspace performance. The work included the installation of 245 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The drainage system was configured to provide consistent water collection and proper flow toward one AmeriSump sump station, which was installed to efficiently discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. To further control moisture and humidity beneath the home, 2,340 square feet of reinforced vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation surfaces to create a continuous moisture barrier. Timbor Spray wood treatment spray was also applied throughout the crawlspace to exposed framing members to inhibit mold growth and help protect against fungal decay. Extensive structural repairs were completed to restore proper load support and reinforce compromised framing components. These repairs included replacement of 32 linear feet of rim joist, 36 linear feet of sill plate, installation of 22 sister joists to strengthen weakened floor framing, and 24 box header caps to improve load transfer and structural support at key framing locations. The project was completed with the installation of one steel crawlspace access door, providing improved durability, insulation, and protection at the entry point. Together, these upgrades provide comprehensive moisture management, enhanced structural integrity, and a cleaner, healthier crawlspace environment designed for long-term performance.
