The installation team completed the installation of 100 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level within a perimeter trench to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. For added protection and reliability, one UltraSump battery backup system was integrated to provide continued pump operation during power outages or primary pump failure. Together, these components create a dependable waterproofing system designed to help maintain a dry, protected basement environment and reduce the risk of water-related damage over the long term.
