Job completed for Ima B.

Completion date: September 4, 2012

Location: Greenwood, IN

Solutions provided:

The installation team completed a combination of structural repairs and moisture-control improvements within the crawlspace to enhance overall stability and performance. The project included the installation of one AmeriSump®sump station to effectively collect and discharge groundwater away from the home, helping to reduce moisture intrusion and maintain a dry environment.
To address ground moisture, 1,200 square feet of 6-mil vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor to limit moisture migration and reduce humidity levels. Structural repairs included replacement of 9 linear feet of sill plate to restore proper bearing at the foundation, installation of 9 sistered joists to reinforce weakened floor framing, and the addition of 6 box header caps to improve load transfer and support at key structural points.
Together, these improvements provide enhanced water management, restore structural integrity, and contribute to a more stable, dry, and durable crawlspace environment.
