Job completed for Laura B.
Completion date: December 10, 2007
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
Our crew began the project by performing bore testing to evaluate subsurface soil conditions and identify suitable bearing strata for foundation stabilization. This testing allowed for accurate determination of pier placement, depth requirements, and load capacity to ensure the most effective support solution. Based on the bore test results, seven Ideal Helical Piers were strategically installed at designated locations along the affected foundation areas.
Each helical pier was mechanically advanced into the ground using specialized equipment until it reached stable, load-bearing soil, achieving the required torque values to confirm proper capacity. Once installed to specification, the piers were securely attached to the foundation to transfer the structural load away from weak or shifting soils. This helical pier system is designed to permanently stabilize the foundation, prevent further settlement, and improve overall structural performance. The completed work provides a durable, long-term solution to protect the home from ongoing foundation movement and related damage.
