Americrawl successfully completed a comprehensive crawl space improvement project that included the installation of 162 feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System, one AmeriSump sump station, 750 square feet of vapor barrier, and six new crawl space vent replacements.
The AmeriDrain Drainage System was installed along the full perimeter of the crawl space to effectively capture and redirect groundwater seepage to the newly installed AmeriSump sump station. This system ensures proper water management, reducing the risk of standing water, humidity buildup, and potential foundation damage.
A 6-mil vapor barrier was carefully laid across 750 square feet of the crawl space floor, providing a sealed moisture barrier that helps prevent mold growth and protects the home’s structural components. Additionally, six new vent replacements were installed to promote balanced ventilation and prevent outside air and pests from entering the space.
