Completion date: June 2, 2003
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
Americrawl provided a full crawlspace and foundation repair for a apartment building in Indianapolis, Indiana, addressing both structural and moisture-related issues. The project included the installation of 132 linear feet of AmeriDrain, an advanced interior drainage system that effectively channels water away from the foundation to prevent flooding and damp conditions. To restore the building’s structural integrity, Americrawl’s team replaced 62 feet of rim joist and plate, 100 feet of sill plate, and 120 feet of center wood beam, ensuring strong, stable support for the upper floors. Additionally, 191 full floor joists were repaired and reinforced to enhance durability and load-bearing performance across the property. These improvements not only stabilized the foundation but also promoted healthier air quality and improved energy efficiency for residents. With Americrawl’s proven products and expertise, the apartment building now benefits from a dry, solid, and long-lasting foundation system.
