Serving Indiana Since 1993

Job completed for 46th Street Commons

Completion date: June 2, 2003

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Solutions provided:

Americrawl provided a full crawlspace
and foundation repair
for a apartment building
in Indianapolis, Indiana, addressing both structural and moisture-related
issues. The project included the installation of 132
linear feet of AmeriDrain
, an advanced interior drainage system
that effectively channels water away from the foundation to prevent flooding
and damp conditions. To restore the building’s structural integrity,
Americrawl’s team replaced 62 feet of rim joist and plate, 100
feet of sill plate
, and 120 feet of center wood beam, ensuring strong, stable
support for the upper floors. Additionally, 191 full floor joists
were repaired and reinforced to enhance durability and load-bearing performance
across the property. These improvements not only stabilized the foundation but
also promoted healthier air quality and improved energy efficiency for
residents. With Americrawl’s proven products and expertise, the apartment
building now benefits from a dry, solid, and long-lasting foundation system.
