About Nathan:

Nathan is our part time IT guy. If it's a computer or networking issue, Nathan is our guy. Nathan has also stepped in to help with installation of products, as he has grown up in this industry. He has helped install crawl space drainage systems as well as crawl space encapsulation systems.

Outside of working, Nathan likes to fish (as you see in in profile pic) as well as spending time with family and mentoring teens at various churches and camps.

The installation team completed the installation of 875 square feet of the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system to help isolate the crawlspace from ground moisture and reduce humidity levels beneath the home. The reinforced vapor barrier was carefully installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation surfaces to create a durable and continuous moisture barrier, helping protect structural components and improve the overall crawlspace environment. In conjunction with the encapsulation, approximately 850 square feet of Timbor wood treatment spray was applied to exposed framing members to inhibit mold growth and help protect against fungal decay. The project was completed with the installation of one Turtle crawlspace access cover, providing a durable and weather-resistant entry point while helping maintain the integrity of the encapsulated crawlspace system. Together, these improvements support better moisture control, protect structural wood components, and promote a cleaner, healthier crawlspace environment.

This homeowner contacted Americrawl after noticing musty odors and signs of mold growth coming from their crawl space. Upon inspection, our team discovered elevated humidity levels, visible mold on exposed wood framing, and general debris buildup throughout the space—all contributing to poor air quality and potential structural issues. The project began with a full crawl space cleanout, where our crew removed old insulation, organic debris, and any material contributing to mold growth and excess moisture. This cleared the way for proper treatment and encapsulation. Next, our team performed a full mold treatment using Tim-bor, a professional-grade borate-based treatment designed to eliminate surface mold and inhibit future fungal growth. This treatment was carefully applied to all affected wood surfaces, ensuring a safe and effective remediation process. To prevent moisture from returning, we installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system—a 20 mil liner securely attached to the walls and floors of the crawl space. This system effectively seals the space from the earth, drastically reducing moisture intrusion and creating a clean, controlled environment. To maintain healthy humidity levels year-round, we also installed a Sedona dehumidifier, one of the most energy-efficient crawl space units on the market. This unit works continuously to manage relative humidity and prevent conditions favorable to mold growth and wood decay.
