Americrawl began with a complete crawl space cleanout, removing all debris and preparing the space for the drainage sytem. The AmeriDrain® drainage system was then installed along the perimeter to capture water and direct it to the AmeriSump® pump station, which  removes and discharges ground water away from the home’s crawl space. A CleanSpace® encapsulation system was applied across the crawl space floor and walls, sealing the crawlspace improving air quality, and creating a cleaner, healthier environment.

Americrawl  addressed moisture control and wood protection in their crawl space. Our team installed 750 square feet of durable 6-mil vapor barrier to cover the exposed soil, significantly reducing ground moisture from entering the space. We also applied 750 square feet of Timbor Spray to all exposed wood surfaces, providing long-lasting protection against mold growth and wood-destroying insects.

After a full inspection, our team identified the need for structural reinforcement, mold treatment, and moisture control to restore the health and safety of the space. The project began with the removal of damaged materials and preparation of the crawl space for structural and environmental remediation. Our team installed a new full-length floor joist to replace a severely compromised joist. This joist was carefully fitted and secured to ensure long-term stability and load support for the floor system above. To address the presence of mold and prevent future growth, we applied a Tim-bor mold treatment spray to all exposed wood surfaces in the crawl space. Tim-bor is a professional-grade borate solution that eliminates surface mold while also serving as a long-lasting protective barrier against fungi and wood-destroying organisms. For moisture control and long-term protection, we installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system. This heavy-duty liner was securely fastened to the crawl space floors and walls, sealing the area from ground moisture and creating a clean, dry, and energy-efficient environment
