Job completed for Gerald B

Completion date: August 7, 1999

Location: Greentown, IN

Solutions provided:

Our expert crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and structural repair project to address groundwater management, moisture control, and deteriorated structural wood components. The project included the installation of 169 linear feet of AmeriDrain to collect and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, helping reduce the risk of standing water and ongoing moisture intrusion. To further control moisture beneath the home, our crew installed 1,652 square feet of vapor barrier across the crawlspace floor to help limit moisture vapor migration from the soil and reduce excess humidity. This added protection helps create a drier crawlspace environment and safeguards the home's structural components from moisture-related deterioration. In addition to the drainage and moisture-control improvements, our crew completed structural wood repairs involving the sill plates, sister joists, and rim joist and plate. These repairs addressed compromised framing components and helped restore the support and stability of the home's floor system. Reinforcing these areas is important for maintaining proper structural support and improving the long-term performance of the framing.
