Job completed for Robin B

Completion date: August 19, 2019

Location: New Palestine, IN

Solutions provided:

Our expert crew completed a crawlspace drainage and moisture-control project designed to help protect the home's foundation from excess groundwater and soil moisture. The work included installing 154 linear feet of AmeriDrain, tying the new drainage system into the home's existing sump station to collect and redirect groundwater for removal. This connection allows the new drainage system to work with the existing pumping equipment to help reduce the risk of standing water and moisture intrusion. Our crew also installed a 6-mil vapor barrier throughout the crawlspace to help reduce moisture vapor migration from the soil and control excess humidity beneath the home. Additionally, one downspout extension was installed to help direct roof runoff farther away from the foundation, reducing the potential for water to accumulate around the home.
