Our expert crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace structural repair project to address deteriorated framing and reinforce the home's floor system. The work included replacing 27 linear feet of rim joist and plate and 56 linear feet of sill plate to restore compromised structural wood components and improve the support along the foundation perimeter. To further strengthen the floor system, our crew installed three sister joists alongside existing floor joists to reinforce weakened areas. In addition, nine full-length sister joists were installed to provide additional structural reinforcement and improve the overall stability of the flooring system. The project also included the installation of 56 box header caps to reinforce the affected framing connections and provide additional support where needed. These structural improvements help strengthen the crawlspace framing, improve load distribution, and support the long-term stability and performance of the home's floor system.
