Completion date: August 29, 2005
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
Our expert crew completed a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and structural stabilization project designed to address groundwater management, structural support, and moisture control. The project included the installation of 126 linear feet of AmeriDrain to collect and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, helping reduce the risk of standing water and ongoing moisture intrusion. To improve the structural support of the floor system, our expert crew replaced 8 linear feet of the center beam and installed four adjustable structural jacks beneath the center beam to provide additional support and help maintain proper load distribution. The crew also installed 850 square feet of vapor barrier across the crawlspace to reduce moisture vapor migration from the soil and help control humidity. As part of the moisture and wood-protection work, our expert crew applied 850 square feet of Timbor Spray to the accessible wood components, helping address moisture-related fungal growth and protect the structural wood from further deterioration. The completed improvements provide the crawlspace with enhanced drainage, structural support, and moisture control while helping protect the home's foundation and floor system.
