Job completed for Todd B

Completion date: May 2, 2008

Location: Jonesboro, IN

Solutions provided:

Our expert crew installed 126 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement drainage system along the interior perimeter of the basement to capture groundwater before it could reach the living space. The drainage system was carefully integrated with a newly installed AmeriSump sump pump system, providing a reliable path for collected water to be discharged safely away from the home's foundation. This comprehensive water management system helps eliminate standing water, relieve hydrostatic pressure beneath the basement floor, and significantly reduce the risk of future basement flooding and moisture intrusion. To permanently stabilize the foundation, our team also installed 20 heavy-duty wall anchors on the bowing basement wall. Each wall anchor was engineered and strategically positioned to counteract lateral soil pressure pushing against the foundation. The anchors were securely connected to stable soil beyond the zone of pressure, allowing the wall to be reinforced immediately while providing the opportunity for gradual straightening over time through future adjustments if necessary. This proven foundation repair method helps prevent additional inward movement and restores structural stability without requiring complete wall replacement. By combining the AkwaGuard basement drainage system, AmeriSump sump pump, and wall anchor stabilization system, the homeowner now has a comprehensive solution that addresses both water intrusion and structural foundation concerns. These improvements help protect the basement from future moisture damage, improve the overall integrity of the foundation, and provide lasting peace of mind for years to come.
