Job completed for Richard B

Completion date: March 9, 2006

Location: Rossville, IN

Solutions provided:

Our expert crew installed 138 linear feet of the AmeriDrain interior drainage system throughout the crawlspace to effectively capture groundwater and direct it away from the foundation, helping to eliminate standing water and relieve hydrostatic pressure beneath the home. This drainage system is designed to keep the crawlspace dry and provide long-term protection against future moisture intrusion. To create a cleaner and healthier environment, our team installed 1,086 square feet of CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation across the crawlspace floor and foundation walls. The durable vapor barrier helps block ground moisture, reduce humidity levels, improve energy efficiency, and protect the home’s structural components from moisture-related damage and deterioration. All exposed wood surfaces within the crawlspace were professionally treated with 1,086 square feet of Timbor spray, a borate-based preservative that helps protect against mold, mildew, wood-decaying fungi, and wood-destroying insects. To complete the moisture control system, we installed a Santa Fe Sedona dehumidifier, specifically designed for crawlspaces and basements. The dehumidifier continuously removes excess humidity from the air, helping to prevent condensation, musty odors, and mold growth while improving the overall air quality throughout the home. Together, the AmeriDrain drainage system, CleanSpace encapsulation, Timbor treatment, and Sedona dehumidifier provide a comprehensive moisture management solution that keeps the crawlspace dry, healthy, and protected for years to come.
