Job completed for Rick B
Completion date: January 19, 2004
Location: Mulberry, IN
Solutions provided:
Our expert crew installed 168 linear feet of the AmeriDrain interior drainage system throughout the crawlspace to capture groundwater and direct it away from the foundation, helping to eliminate standing water and reduce hydrostatic pressure beneath the home. This drainage system provides reliable, long-term protection against water intrusion while creating the foundation for a dry and healthy crawlspace. To further protect the home from moisture, our team installed 1,700 square feet of CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation, creating a durable moisture barrier across the crawlspace floor and foundation walls. The encapsulation system helps prevent ground moisture from entering the crawlspace, lowers humidity levels, improves energy efficiency, and protects the home's structural components from moisture-related deterioration. All exposed wood surfaces within the crawlspace were professionally treated with Timbor, a borate-based wood preservative that helps protect against mold, mildew, wood-decaying fungi, and wood-destroying insects. To help keep surface water away from the foundation, our crew also installed six downspout extensions, directing roof runoff safely away from the home and reducing the amount of water entering the soil around the foundation. Together, the AmeriDrain drainage system, CleanSpace encapsulation, Timbor treatment, and downspout extensions provide a complete moisture management solution that helps keep the crawlspace clean, dry, and protected for years to come.
