Job completed for Jeff B

Completion date: September 3, 2020

Location: Beech Grove, IN

Solutions provided:

Our expert crew stabilized a bowing basement foundation wall by installing 12 high-strength carbon fiber reinforcement straps, permanently securing the wall to help prevent additional inward movement while preserving valuable basement space. The wall was carefully prepared before each strap was bonded with structural epoxy to provide long-lasting reinforcement and improve the overall stability of the foundation. To address the source of the problem, our team also installed a complete exterior French drain system around the affected foundation. The drainage system was designed to intercept groundwater before it could build hydrostatic pressure against the basement walls, directing water to a newly installed exterior sump station where it is safely collected and discharged away from the home. By combining structural wall reinforcement with an effective exterior water management system, the homeowner now has a stronger, more stable foundation that is better protected against future bowing, water intrusion, and moisture-related damage. This comprehensive solution helps extend the life of the foundation while providing lasting peace of mind.
