Job completed for Stephen B

Completion date: April 28, 2006

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Solutions provided:

The installation team completed the installation of 138 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The drainage system was carefully installed to provide continuous water collection and direct groundwater toward one AmeriSump sump station, ensuring efficient removal of water away from the home's foundation through a dedicated exterior discharge line. To further protect the crawlspace from excess moisture and humidity, 1,150 square feet of 6-mil black vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor. The vapor barrier was carefully overlapped and secured to create a continuous moisture barrier that helps prevent ground moisture from migrating into the crawlspace environment. This system reduces humidity levels, minimizes the potential for mold and mildew growth, and helps protect structural wood components from moisture-related deterioration.
