Solutions provided:
The installation team completed a comprehensive crawlspace waterproofing and encapsulation project designed to provide long-term moisture control and protection for the home’s foundation and structural components. The work included the installation of 245 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The drainage system was carefully configured to promote continuous water collection and direct flow toward one SuperSump® sump station, which was installed to efficiently collect and discharge groundwater away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. To further protect the crawlspace from moisture and humidity, 2,000 square feet of the CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation walls, piers, and penetrations to create a continuous and durable vapor barrier. This encapsulation system helps isolate the crawlspace from earth moisture, reduces humidity levels, and protects structural components from moisture-related deterioration. Additionally, one Sedona dehumidifier was installed to actively control humidity and maintain a dry, conditioned crawlspace environment year-round. The unit was properly positioned to promote balanced air circulation and continuous moisture removal, helping to reduce the potential for mold growth, wood rot, and poor indoor air quality. Together, these integrated systems provide comprehensive groundwater management, humidity control, and long-term protection, resulting in a cleaner, drier, and healthier crawlspace environment.
