Job completed for Charles L
Completion date: October 15, 2009
Location: Lafayette, IN
Solutions provided:
To repair this wet crawlspace in Lafayette, Indiana, Americrawl installed 122 linear feet of crawlspace drainage to effectively capture and direct groundwater away from the foundation. A high-performance sump pump with a discharge line was added to remove collected water and help keep the crawlspace dry year-round. To further control moisture and improve the overall crawlspace environment, a dehumidifier was installed to reduce humidity levels and help prevent mold growth, wood rot, and musty odors. The space was also protected with 960 square feet of durable vapor barrier, creating a moisture-resistant barrier between the earth and the crawlspace. Together, these waterproofing and moisture control solutions provide a cleaner, healthier, and more energy-efficient crawlspace while helping to protect the home's structural integrity.
